Babysitting Certification

Prepare to become a confident, capable, and trusted babysitter! In this certification course, students will learn the essential skills needed to safely and responsibly care for children of various ages. Topics will include child safety, basic first aid awareness, emergency preparedness, age-appropriate activities, diapering and feeding basics, behavior management, communication with parents, and professionalism. Students will also learn how to market their babysitting services, set expectations with families, and build a reputation as a reliable caregiver. Upon successful completion of the course requirements, students will receive a Babysitting Certification certificate that can be used to demonstrate their training and readiness to provide childcare services. This class is ideal for middle and high school students interested in babysitting, childcare, or future careers working with children.

Digital Citizenship

Technology is a wonderful tool, but learning how to use it wisely is an important life skill. In this engaging class designed for young elementary students, children will learn the foundations of responsible digital citizenship through age-appropriate lessons, activities, games, and discussions. Topics will include online safety, protecting personal information, screen-time balance, kindness and respect in digital spaces, identifying trusted adults, and making wise choices when using technology. Students will develop healthy technology habits and gain confidence navigating the digital world in a safe, respectful, and responsible way. This class provides a strong foundation for young learners as they begin interacting with technology both at home and in their educational experiences.

Designed especially for young learners, this hands-on class introduces students to important safety skills that can help them respond calmly and responsibly in everyday situations. Through interactive activities, demonstrations, role-playing, and age-appropriate lessons, students will learn basic first aid concepts, emergency preparedness, personal safety, how and when to call 911, water and fire safety, stranger awareness, and an introduction to CPR principles. While this course does not provide an official CPR certification, it helps build confidence, awareness, and practical safety knowledge that children can carry with them throughout their lives. Students will leave with a greater understanding of how to stay safe, help others, and respond appropriately in an emergency.

This practical, skills-based course equips junior high and high school students with essential knowledge for responding confidently and responsibly in emergency situations. Students will learn the fundamentals of first aid, CPR awareness, emergency preparedness, injury prevention, personal safety, and how to assess and respond to a variety of common emergencies. Additional topics may include basic wound care, choking response, water safety, fire safety, situational awareness, and effective communication during emergencies. Through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and real-world scenarios, students will develop valuable life skills that can benefit their families, communities, future employment opportunities, and everyday life. This course is ideal for students interested in babysitting, childcare, healthcare, coaching, leadership, or simply being prepared to help others in times of need. Depending on the instructor and certification provider, students may have the opportunity to earn a CPR and First Aid certification upon successful completion of course requirements.

Teamwork & Problem Solving Certification

Success in school, careers, and life often depends on the ability to work well with others and solve problems effectively. In this interactive certification course for students in grades 5–8, participants will develop essential collaboration, communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills through hands-on challenges, team projects, games, and real-world scenarios. Students will learn how to contribute positively to a team, navigate disagreements respectfully, think creatively, make decisions, and overcome obstacles together. Throughout the course, students will have opportunities to practice leadership, build confidence, and demonstrate growth in teamwork and problem-solving. Upon successful completion of course requirements, students will earn a Teamwork & Problem Solving Certification recognizing their commitment to developing these valuable life and leadership skills.

Reading Milestone Badges

Turn reading into an exciting adventure! In this engaging class for students in grades 1–4, young readers will work toward earning Reading Milestone Badges as they build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and develop a lifelong love of reading. Through a combination of independent reading, read-alouds, reading challenges, discussions, and creative activities, students will celebrate progress as they reach new reading goals and unlock achievement badges along the way. Badge categories may include reading stamina, genre exploration, vocabulary growth, comprehension, character studies, and special reading challenges. This class is designed to encourage a positive reading culture while meeting students at their individual reading levels and inspiring them to grow as capable and enthusiastic readers.

Math Fact Fluency

Build a strong foundation for future math success! In this engaging class for students in grades 1–4, learners will develop speed, accuracy, and confidence with essential math facts through games, challenges, hands-on activities, and interactive practice. Students will work toward mastery of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts at their individual level while learning strategies to improve recall and mental math skills. Progress will be celebrated through milestones, achievements, and personalized goals that encourage growth and confidence. By strengthening math fact fluency, students will develop the foundational skills needed to tackle more advanced math concepts with greater ease and success.
