Earn college credit while gaining a deeper understanding of the American political system. This high school course is designed to prepare students for the American Government CLEP exam while exploring the foundations, structure, and function of the United States government. Students will study the Constitution, federalism, civil liberties, political parties, elections, public policy, Congress, the Presidency, the judiciary, and the role of citizens in a constitutional republic. Get a head start on college mathematics while preparing to earn college credit. This rigorous high school course is designed to prepare students for the College Mathematics and/or College Algebra CLEP examinations through a comprehensive review of key mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies. Topics may include algebraic expressions, equations and inequalities, functions, graphing, exponents, radicals, polynomials, systems of equations, statistics, probability, financial mathematics, and mathematical reasoning. A comprehensive, college-credit preparatory course designed to equip students with the interdisciplinary knowledge and analytical skills required to succeed on the CLEP Natural Sciences examination. Integrating key concepts from biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and astronomy, the course emphasizes scientific reasoning, data interpretation, experimental design, and quantitative problem-solving. Students master foundational topics such as cellular processes, genetics, atomic structure, chemical reactions, energy and motion, thermodynamics, geological systems, and basic cosmology while learning to analyze graphs, models, and scientific evidence efficiently. Instruction includes targeted CLEP-style practice, cumulative reviews, and timed assessments to strengthen recall, critical thinking, and test-day strategy. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate college-level scientific literacy and confidence in solving both conceptual and calculation-based exam questions. Students will be able to take the CLEP exam after for 6 college credit hours.
US History 1 - CLEP Class

Two rigorous, one-semester courses designed to prepare students for college credit through the CLEP US History I and CLEP US History II examinations. US History I covers early American history from European exploration and colonization through the Civil War and Reconstruction, including colonial development, the American Revolution, the Constitution, westward expansion, sectional conflict, and the major political, economic, social, and cultural developments of the early United States.
US History II continues the study of American history from Reconstruction to the present, including industrialization, immigration, Progressivism, World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, the Cold War, civil rights, modern political movements, foreign policy, and contemporary American society. Instruction emphasizes exam-aligned content review, primary-source analysis, historical reasoning, vocabulary development, and timed practice assessments to build accuracy, speed, and confidence.
By the end of the two-course sequence, students should demonstrate strong mastery of American historical development and be prepared to take both CLEP examinations for up to 6 college credit hours.

This course is designed for motivated students seeking both advanced math preparation and the opportunity to earn college credit. The class integrates a rigorous study of trigonometric functions, identities, equations, and applications with a comprehensive review of algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and analytic geometry concepts aligned to the CLEP Precalculus Exam. Emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding, problem-solving strategies, and test readiness, preparing students for success on the CLEP exam as well as future coursework in calculus and other STEM fields.
